The Scottish Shortbread
Competition is a nice addition to the day.
This competition is open to everyone. Prepare
your favorite traditional or non-traditional
shortbread recipe(s), and have your shortbread
entries at the Triad Tea Tent by
11:00 AM for judging. (Each year's winners
listed below rules). |

Rules per entry: |

|
|
1. |
Submit six (6) pieces of shortbread (per
category) for judging. |
|
| |
2.

Entries should be on unmarked 7" paper plates,
covered with plastic wrap. |
|
| |
3. |
Entries must be submitted between 9:00 AM and
11:00 AM at the Triad Tartan Tea Tent. |
|
| |
4. |
Registration cards will be completed at the
time of entry submission. |
|
|
|
5. |
There are two (2) categories, traditional and
non-traditional. You can have entries in both
and up to two (2) entries per category. |
|

6. |
Judges for the event will be members of the
Honored Clan and dignitaries. |
|
|
| |
|
Decisions of
the judges are final.
All
entries become the property of the Triad
