No pets are allowed at the Triad Highland Games. |
| Although there is a general policy
allowing pets at parks in Greensboro we have been
forced to deviate from that policy at our Highland
Games. Due to the liability, safety of our patrons,
health and safety of your pets, and the danger and
distraction it causes with the border collies (who
are very protective of 'their' sheep from other
dogs), it has been decided to keep our Games a
'pet free' environment. |
| While we know you would like to
share the joy of your pet with others and they would
like to attend the Games as well we regretfully
request that they be kept home. Due to some breeds
being more vicious than others, especially towards
other dogs, we have to exclude ALL breeds. |
| If you are traveling with your pets
and wish to attend our Games, there are several good
boarding facilities within Greensboro. Please
contact us prior to the Games with any questions about this and we'll
be happy to help. |
| If you are disabled and use a
service dog, then they'll be, of course, allowed.
Proper vaccinations, paperwork, etc. to identify
them as such may be required. |
